Vancouver to Kamloops
Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch are included onboard. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. Your expected arrival time in Kamloops will be between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Please be aware that rail travel can be subject to unforeseen delays.

Kamloops to Lake Louise
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Breakfast and lunch are included onboard. Your expected arrival into Lake Louise is between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

Luggage:Please ensure your luggage is clearly labelled with your name and contact information. You are not required to wait in your room for luggage collection. If you prefer to handle your own luggage, please advise the bell team by 8 PM the evening prior to your departure.A Rocky Mountaineer representative will greet you at the designated location within the hotel. If you have not yet checked-in for your train journey online or at a Rocky Mountaineer Guest Centre, you may do so at this time. A boarding pass and information on your Quesnel and Whistler accommodation will be provided during check-in. Rocky Mountaineer luggage tags will be provided prior to boarding your motorcoach transfer. Check-in must be completed at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.

Jasper to Quesnel
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain resort of Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Pass through the Rocky Mountain Trench, with the steep Rocky and Cariboo Mountains either side, and on to the rolling hills and vast forests of British Columbia's Northern Interior. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass and Moose Lake. Breakfast and lunch included onboard. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer passes through the town of Prince George and follows the Fraser River into Quesnel. Your expected arrival into Quesnel is between 6:45 PM and 8:45 PM.

Your journey continues south today to the four-season resort of Whistler. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon, through the rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau, to the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Breakfast and lunch included onboard. Your rail journey today ends on arrival to Pemberton. Your expected arrival to Pemberton is between 6:45 PM and 8:45 PM. You will be transfered by motorcoach to Whistler, host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games alpine events, where you will overnight.

An afternoon meal is served canapé style. Expected arrival in North Vancouver is between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
