Day 1: Welcome to Rome

Walking Tour with Tagliere Tasting: A relaxed morning walk with your personal guided reveals some of the city's most iconic sites including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona - built on the site of an ancient Roman stadium and hailed today as one of the city's most beautiful. This tour ends at a local macelleria (butcher shop) for a Tagliere - a tasting of their fine cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by fresh bread and a glass of fine Italian wine. Day 5: Onward to Siena #WHS#

After breakfast, a scenic chauffeured journey brings you to the ancient town of Pienza #WHS# where you'll meet your guide for a tasting of some locally produced cheeses. Then continue your journey through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside to Siena, regarded by many as Italy's loveliest medieval city.
