Today you'll make your way to the Gem Air Terminal Building in Boise, Idaho to meet up with your group. Board a scenic 45- or 75-minute flight to the charming mountain towns of either Stanley or Salmon, Idaho (depending on your departure date) where your guide will greet you on arrival and transfer you to the hotel. At 6:00 pm, everyone will gather on the back lawn of the hotel for a welcome orientation, with time to get to know your professional guide and fellow adventurers, ask questions, and prepare for your week on the river. Dinner is at your leisure and your guide will share local picks for you to explore. Afterwards, return to your hotel and pack your waterproof river bags (provided) for an early morning departure into Idaho's backcountry wilderness.
